University of Manitoba Libraries First in Canada to Adopt Skilltype

BATON ROUGE, LA and WINNIPEG, MB — October 15, 2024 — Skilltype, creators of skills management software for knowledge organizations, is pleased to announce its partnership with the University of Manitoba Libraries (UML). The Canadian research library will be the first in the country to deploy Skilltype’s innovative platform for data-driven skill development. This strategic move highlights the Libraries’ commitment to fostering continuous professional growth, equipping staff with the latest tools to enhance their expertise, and providing optimal service to the university community. UML marks the first Canadian library to adopt Skilltype, marking the company’s expansion into nine countries as of Fall 2024.
